...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...West Central Humboldt County in northwestern California... * Until 345 PM PST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1125 AM PST, Trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in the advisory area. This is causing small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eureka, Arcata, McKinleyville, Cutten, Myrtletown, Bayview, Pine Hills, Samoa, Freshwater and Humboldt Hill. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
